NATIONAL CADET CORPS(NCC)

            The NCC aims at developing character, commandership, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conductive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.

AIM OF NCC:

   To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation.
  
To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces.
  
To Develop Character, Commandership, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.

 

NCC - NCC has been sanctioned to our Vidyalaya in the month of June 2011. NCC sub unit was opened in the Vidyalaya : Troop no : 148 JD/JW under 18 KARNATAKA BN NCC PANDESHWAR. Mr. A R Siraguppi, TGT- Kannada is the Associate NCC officer. There are 50 cadets in the troop. 28  JDs and 22 JWs are being selected from class 8 th and 9th respectively Academic year for 2016-17 . NCC activities are carried on according to the programme fixed by the NCC unit Pandeshwar Mangalore. 40 classes of 120 parades will be conducted during the year 2016-17.
 

ON 22.6 2016 International YOGA day was conducted at our Vidyalaya. 10 cadets have participated in the ATC camp at Moodabidri this year.  Cadets participated in various activities like, AIDS awareness, Save girl child, save environment and Cancer awareness etc.
