PACE SETTING ACTIVITIES

 

       As a model school of the Dist. our Vidyalaya has also organized and arranged many useful progammes as pace setting activities. Migration is one of the major pace setting activities of the Samiti. Migrating 30% of class IX children from Hindi speaking area to non Hindi speaking area and vice-versa. Around 21 students of class IX are sent to JNV J.P.Nagar Uttar Pradesh every year. In the same way the students of JNV J.P.Nagar come to our school. All efforts are made to make them feel at home in the campus. And they are allowed to attend the phone calls of their parents, on second Saturday of the month. During the Winter and summer vacation, we give computer literacy program to the neighborhood schools.

ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION, 6th JUNE - 2016

Principal Mr. G.J. Sakrates addressed Staff & students in the morning assembly highlighting the importance of world environment day celebration and about the importance of planting saplings.

Students of class X presented a discussion in the assembly on the topic environment and its protection.

PTC members donated saplings for planting on environment day.

Principal, Staff, students and PTC representatives took part in planting of saplings in the campus.

An inter house poster making competition   held in the afternoon on the topic   Save our earth. 

In the evening, children were asked to take care of plants in the campus by weeding and transplanting them, which will increase the growth rate in the monsoon season.

INDEPENDENCE DAY RALLY, 15th AUGUST - 2016

The Vidyalaya conducted a National Integration Rally in connection with Independence Day celebration. The entire students and staff of the vidyalaya took part in rally, which started at 10.00 am. The Principal flagged of the rally. The students carried placards, depicting the slogan of National Integration and the integrity of the country. The rally moved through the main road up to Mudipu and back. The local people gave warm welcome to the rally. After the rally the sweet distributed the students.

SADBHAVANA DIWAS CELEBRATION ON 20th AUGUST - 2016

On account of the 72nd Birth Anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, Vidyalaya celebrated Sadbhavana Diwas on 20th August-2016. In view of Sadbhavana Diwas after the assembly the Principal, Vice Principal, Staff and students garlanded the statue of Rajiv Gandhi.

Evening Vidyalaya also undertakes Public road and campus cleaning campaign under the Pace setting activities on the same day between 5pm to 6pm nearby Vidyalaya premises. Students of all the houses along with their House masters/mistress, Associate house masters/mistress, Tutors participated in cleaning.
